Hypnotherapy Smoking cessation

Home Page

For any smoker the decision to quit the habit will be a difficult one. Nicotine is a powerful addictive chemical making it difficult for many people to give up the habit. For those who believe that they do not have the will power to do away with the habit, smoking cessation hypnosis could be an important solution. Hypnotherapy puts a person into a relaxed state so that the hypnotherapist can establish contact with their subconscious mind.

Many people think that aversion therapy is used to make the person think that cigarettes tastes horrible, however this kind of therapy seldom has a lasting effect, the smoker knows that cigarettes aren’t horrible!

Usually smokers have a myth that they can do any activity well only when they smoke. Hypnotherapy highlights the falsehood of these notions pointing out that they are purely imaginative. The aim of hypnotherapy is for the smoker to lose the emotional attachment to cigarettes.
